Indie I Do!

In case you missed it, last weekend we were at Indie I Do. We love this show! This was our third year involved and we loved meeting all the original people planning their weddings!

If you didn't get a chance to make it, check out the website and check out the vendors websites. They are seriously so creative and amazing, absolutely the kind of people you want to have on your team when you are planning a wedding.

Blue Olive Photography -simply one of the best. We are always thrilled when we see them at a wedding, because we know that our clients are going to be blown away by their wedding pictures.

Lotus Events- lovely, creative and down to earth. They can make your dreams reality

Delovely Creative-blows my mind, every event I see her at, looks AMAZING, if you want decor that will be remembered, check her out!

Young Hip and Married- if you want your ceremony to be as memorable as the reception, these are the people for the job. True professionals who will help you design your ceremony to be a reflection of who you are as a couple. Every wedding needs an officiant, they will have the attention of everyone at your ceremony, make sure they are the best person for the job... and tell your mom to pack her kleenex.

Erin Gilmore Photography- We see Erin at many weddings every year, she is a star! Just go check out her website, the images speak for themselves. Gorgeous!

Side One- This is the band we would hire! They can play everything a DJ can play. Full of energy, you can't help but dance.

Coco Cupcakes- Seriously takes cupcakes to the next level. Check out her site, and send her your dreams, she can make them a reality!

Stone Photo- These guys are awesome, go look at their pictures! I was blown away by their slideshow at Indie I Do. So so beautiful!

reFresh Events- I couldn't have named them better. These guys are totally refreshing, warm and easy to get along with! They have a very fresh approach to weddings and are committed to being environmentally responsible . Rad.

We have a couple wedding shows coming up that are totally worth going to.

A note on wedding shows:
We think that wedding shows are a great way to get to know what Vancouver has to offer for wedding vendors.
We do several wedding shows every year and carefully pick them based on whether we would recommend the other vendors involved. The best kind of wedding shows are put on my actual wedding planners who select the best vendors to be in the show.
Not every wedding show out there has the kind of screening process that the shows we are involved with do. We are confident that when we recommend a show it will be a great experience for you, and you will only be introduced to vendors who wont disappoint!
Wedding shows are a great place to chat with vendors and get some great ideas for your day.

There are two wedding shows coming up that I would totally recommend. These shows are both very different but will showcase the best wedding vendors Vancouver has to offer.

On January 16, 2011 a small group of select wedding vendors will be hosting 'Veil' an informal party at the beautiful Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver for couples like you who are currently planning their weddings. Join us to ask questions and to seek advice from seasoned wedding pros without the crowds and sales pitch environment of the traditional wedding shows. This is a fun and interactive event so grab your fiance or friend and join the fun. Admission is FREE!

January 22, 2011 is Indie I Do at the Heritage Hall on Main St.
