Dance Competition Photo booth

We had a blast with the kids from Synergy Dance last week at their dance competition and seminar.
They loved cramming into the photo booth together! Like I always say, kids never have trouble coming up with a funny face :)

Whistler Ski and Snowboard Festival Photobooth

The Telus Ski and Snowboard Festival in Whistler is one of our favorite events of the year! We have some awesome corporate clients who keep asking us back to be part of their insane parties during the festival.
This year we were asked to be part of the West 49th / Quiksilver /DC Shoes party again, and it didn't disappoint. At the Roundhouse on top of Whistler Mountain, (yes the photo booth can ride gondolas) this party was awesome. They had a fully branded corporate photo booth with their own background.
Things got pretty fun in there!

It's always fun at the YMCA!

Have you seen the new Robert Lee YMCA on Burrard yet? It's AMAZING!
Check it out here, and go for a tour sometime. It has everything!
We love doing events with the YMCA because the vibe is great! Healthy, energetic, and positive people always make for awesome photobooth pictures.
Here are a few shots from their staff training day this week.

(note: unfortunately some of the pictures on our blog have been stolen and are showing up on other company's websites. Boo to them, we can't help it if our photobooths produce the best pictures. Now we have to put our logo on pictures displayed on our blog. Not very pretty. Don't worry, our logo will NEVER appear on your prints or any product you receive from us)

Sandy Pandher Special Events -Testimonial

We just received a very sweet testimonial from an amazing Vancouver events planner. We have had the opportunity to work with Sandy Pandher on several events and have found her to be so great to work with. We would absolutely recommend her to our friends and clients if they need some help with their big day!

Apparently she would recommend us to!

"Photobooth Vancouver, thank you for the amazing service you provide my clients. As an Event Planner I never have to worry about a thing when you attend the event. From having the perfect backdrop for the clients to adding personal touches to the photo’s, it is evident you take the clients interest to heart. Your service is about people, and you know how to make everyone smile.

There is a reason why Photobooth Vancouver is a “big hit” at events every time. As someone from the Events Industry, I highly recommend Photobooth Vancouver for your next event, especially if you are looking to add something to complete your event, or if you want to have a fabulous time and smile lots!

Angela and Domi thank you for being real and making my clients and their guests smile!

All the best, Sandy Pandher"

Mustaches make great photo booth props!

We LOVE it when props are incorporated into the photobooth experience. We always encourage our clients to get creative when picking out props for their guests.
Random costume supplies are always fun, but we especially love it when there is a theme to the props.
Some of our personal favorites have been mustaches. There are some local costume shops that you can buy one time use mustaches that stick on to your face. (see picture above, yep that's us on the right)

We have also found some awesome online sources where you can get some higher quality mustaches that can be used by guests throughout the night.

One source on Etsy is Whiskerworks. These are some of the highest quality mustaches-on-a-stick that I have seen. Made of hard plastic, I would recommend them for being able to last a night with your rowdy guests.

There are also very cute paper ones available through www.smittensticks.com

Or you can get creative and make your own, courtesy of this tutorial from The Wedding Chicks.
(no guarantee they will survive a night of guests goofing around). Hope this inspires you!

By far my favorite idea is from local artisan Sam Made, she can make chocolate mustaches on sticks! Send her an email through her blog for details.

Introducing the LITTLE BIRDS background!

It feels like spring today!
We are happy to launch our new Little Birds pattern background.
It is so cute!
We know it will perfectly suit some of the laid back outdoor weddings we will do this summer. Leaves, flowers, and birds in black, white and green. Just let us know if you would like to use the Little Birds background for your event!

Red Damask for a 18th birthday photo booth!

Emmalyn hosted a very Hollywood themed 18th birthday party, and (as usual) everyone had a blast in the photobooth. The red damask background was a perfect match for her luxe theme.

"I received the disk yesterday, thank you so much! The pictures look awesome, And a couple of my friends want to rent your photo booth for their special occasion! So you'll be hearing from them soon :)" -Emmalyn April 4 10

Kids are the best Photobooth posers!

We had a blast this weekend at the Tsawwassen First Nation Treaty Day. It always amazes us how kids have no trouble getting creative in the photobooth.
We often are asked by adults for suggestions on good photobooth poses. Kids are naturals.

Derek and Tara Jean's wedding photo booth

The magic of black and white once again.
I love these photobooth pictures! The bride and groom assembled a super fun crowd for their wedding at the Scottish Cultural Centre in Vancouver.

Thank you cards!

Woo hoo! We love getting "Thank You" cards from our clients! This week we received two very cute and creative cards! We thought we would share them, because we know you are always looking for wedding inspiration!

The first one is from Cristina and Jerrid, they used their photobooth picture as the front of the card and a picture taken by their photographer on the inside. So cute!

"To the whole Photobooth Vancouver crew, Thank you all so much for adding that special something to our big day! The photobooth was a huge hit and we loved our own photo so much that we made it the cover of our thank you cards! Thanks to everyone over there!"

The second card was from Eldon and Kim. They sent a very cute collage postcard.
There is the cutest picture of them on it holding up their photobooth picture!

"Thank you so much for all your work. Everybody loved the photobooth!"

When ever we get a "thank you" card, we just want to say "back at you!". Thank you so much to all our clients for trusting us with their big day and for making Photobooth Vancouver "The Hit of the Party". It is absolutely our pleasure to serve you!
