Justin and Victoria's Wedding Photobooth

We had so much fun with Justin and Victoria and their guests at Morgan Creek Golf Course in South Surrey. 
 Their day was coordinated by Abby from True Devotion Wedding Planning. Their amazing pictures were taken by Elle&R Photography. Along with us, they had some other unique details, amazing on-site baristas making lattes from Just Cappuccino Catering.

Michel and Chelsea's Vancouver Wedding Photobooth

We have the coolest clients. We know without a doubt that we get to go to the best weddings and events in Vancouver.
This wedding was hands down one of the coolest ones we have seen.
Their theme was...CLUE. Like the board game! Appropriately held at The Law Courts Inn in downtown Vancouver.
We helped them design the perfect logo complete with the characters from the game. They provided their guests with the full arsenal of murder weapons for props. Their guests transformed in the black and white photobooth pictures with candlesticks and wrenches in hand.
So amazing! Kudos and Congrats Michel and Chelsea!
If you are thinking about providing props for your guests, I totally recommend going with a theme.

Meghan and Justin's Vancouver Wedding Photobooth

Meghan and Justin lucked out and had their wedding on one of the most beautiful sunny days we have had so far this year. It was a perfect day to spend at Whonnock Lake for their elegant wedding.
They used our sage background which looked so nice with their logo. They had a bunch of fun props for their guests. The huge hit was the chocolate mustaches!

Casey and Emily's wedding photobooth

It was an honor to be a part of Casey and Emily's wedding reception at Langley Golf Club.
They are a super sweet couple and their guests loved taking pictures in the photo booth. They had a beautiful navy and white theme and it was perfectly complimented by our navy and white modern damask background in the photo booth.

Vancouver Lululemon Photo booth Party

We love working with Lululemon and we do several events with them every year. We get a lot of requests from clients looking for ideas for props. I thought I would post this to show you how well the staff at Lululemon dresses up!
This year they held their leadership conference around Halloween time and their staff looked awesome!
Something about the black and white pictures maskes them look so cartoonish.

Felisa and Dane's Wedding Photobooth

Felisa and Dane are adorable! Their wedding party was so laid back and fun. Their reception was held at Riverside Banquet hall and their amazing photographer was Sherry Lu check out her blog post about their day for all the pretty pictures!

Emilie and Daryl's Wedding Photo Booth

This was the ideal wedding for a photobooth. The perfect combo of adorable couple their super fun friends and the amazing venue The Vancouver Club. The pictures from Emilie and Daryl's wedding photo booth are epic. I'm sure they will love them forever!
I love this sweet moment with the bride and her brother.

This is why we do photobooths! We love the spontaneous memories that happen in the booth, and how they are documented forever digitally and on paper.

Kristina and Kevin's Wedding Photo booth

I'm so excited to blog about Kristina and Kevin's wedding! This was without a doubt one of our favorite weddings of the year.
For the following reasons:
1. We were hired by a couple that hired us for their wedding in 2008, they have since become our friends and when their sister got engaged, they insisted on bringing us up to her wedding in Whistler. In fact, they hired us as a surprise for the bride. Needless to say she was thrilled!

2. Fantastic venue and vendors. They had the wedding at beautiful Nitka Lake Lodge in Whistler. They also hired the fabulous Jeanie Ow from Studio Jeanie and her assistant for the day Tracey Heppner (both photographers who have shot our family before, because they are awesome!)

3. Their guests were extremely creative in the photobooth. It must have something to do with it being the second wedding with a photobooth in the family. They brought their A game with their posing, their props were awesome and the photos are epic. So much so, we made a little slideshow about them.

Amber and Cam's wedding photo booth

It's always fun when we arrive to set up before the start of the wedding reception. We are usually there at the same time the decor and other vendors are setting up. When we arrived at the Brockhouse to set up for Amber and Cam's wedding, we were so excited about their yellow and grey colour scheme.Complete with candy bar, and hand made signs directing guests to the photobooh and dance floor, it was so cute! Their photographer Larissa from Luxe photography did a phenomenal job, she already blogged the gorgeous pictures! Be sure to check out the amazing cake by April Cakes.

Krista and Jorge's Wedding Photo Booth

We were really looking forward to Krista and Jorge's wedding. Krista is an assistant wedding planner with Dreamgroup, so we knew that her Vancouver Club wedding would be awesome! She assembled a team of the best of Vancouver's wedding vendors!
Her wedding planner was Alicia Keats from Dreamgroup, photographers were Jonestu Photography, beautiful flowers from Granville Island Florist and her DJ from Rhythm Nation was awesome and kept the crowd dancing till the very end. All of her props fit the black and white theme. Very classy!

Andrea and Victor's Wedding Reception Photo Booth

Perfect theme, perfect Vancouver venue, perfect party!

It's always awesome when fellow wedding vendors get married, you know they have the scoop the best that Vancouver has to offer. Andrea works at Fireworks Event Furniture, they supply the designer decor rental that set the mood for fabulous parties.

They had a very fun Mexican theme to their reception at the Waterfall building near Granville Island. Their photographer was Erin Gilmore, and the food was provided by Peak of Catering.

They used the always fabulous teal blue background and we made them a custom papel picado style logo.

Gabrielle and Keith's wedding photobooth

Their theme was "The Perfect Pair" and they had pears on their logo, it doesn't get any cuter! Gabby and Keith had a very fun wedding surrounded by their friends and family at the Fortune Seafood Restaurant in Metrotown.
I love how their yellow theme looks with the black and white damask backgroud. Pear-fect!

During the course of an event, there are often themes that develop in the pictures. In this wedding I noticed a lot of beautiful innocent children, with their silly parents. I love it!

Jeanette and Jeremy's wedding photobooth

This couple knows how to have fun, and at their wedding they pulled out all the stops to make sure that their guests had a good time! Sumo wrestling, bubbles, and costumes for the photobooth made this wedding unforgettable for their guests! The photo booth pictures are priceless!

Mustaches make great photo booth props!

We LOVE it when props are incorporated into the photobooth experience. We always encourage our clients to get creative when picking out props for their guests.
Random costume supplies are always fun, but we especially love it when there is a theme to the props.
Some of our personal favorites have been mustaches. There are some local costume shops that you can buy one time use mustaches that stick on to your face. (see picture above, yep that's us on the right)

We have also found some awesome online sources where you can get some higher quality mustaches that can be used by guests throughout the night.

One source on Etsy is Whiskerworks. These are some of the highest quality mustaches-on-a-stick that I have seen. Made of hard plastic, I would recommend them for being able to last a night with your rowdy guests.
There are also very cute paper ones available through www.smittensticks.com

Or you can get creative and make your own, courtesy of this tutorial from The Wedding Chicks.
(no guarantee they will survive a night of guests goofing around). Hope this inspires you!
